I am trying to fix travel with AI because its too messed up now

A few months ago I had to visit my sick dad in the hospital very urgently. I spent 30 minutes that day trying to find a flight in the evening that I actually wanted. It was a headache for me because I was doing all that while comforting the rest of my family. After going to the hospital we met this family friend who flown from the same city as us but he had spent like 2 hours finding a flight which was $20 cheaper than mine. And dont take that amount for granted, I bought tickets for 7 people that day. But there was NO way in hell I would spend 2 hours researching a freaking "flight" when my dad is fighting for his life in the hospital and my family needs comfort. I always saw that as a rigged game. I believe in this era of AI where we are getting closer to AGI, it seems stupid to me to spend 2 hours manually trying to find a flight rather than delegating it to an AI. I am surprised big tech companies haven't solved this problem yet. So I built something for myself. It took me 6 months(!) to get this done properly. I built an inventory which any of my AI can use to browse flights for me. It can check the inventory of 200 websites in minutes if not seconds. And for people who faced similar problem and want to experience how this works, I have built an MCP connector for that too. Its like you hook it up to Claude, ChatGPT (or any AI that can connect to an MCP) and you just tell it what you want in plain language (dates, people, bags etc whatever) like you are talking to a person, and it will search a bunch of sources at once (Skyscanner, Kayak, Booking etc and 180+ more) to get you the best offer according to your need. You dont have to switch between 15 tabs (like I was doing when I tried to book a flight to visit my dad lol), my Claude does the job in 1 simple 5 line prompt most of the time. Its not yet perfect though. Giving my best to make it good enough to make a change to the world, even if in small portion.
