Bruto: a task board that lives in your repo, for you and your AI

Working with AI on real projects, I kept explaining the same context again and again in chats that forget. So I built Bruto: a task board whose notes live inside the project, in .bruto/workspace.json. - You write tasks as notes (files, links, screenshots) on a board. - One key copies exactly the context the AI needs, as Markdown. - Coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor…) can work the board through an MCP server: they read a note, answer inside it and mark it for review. - Standing rules ("run the tests before finishing") go into every copy. - It draws your project from its code: screens, API routes, database tables. It's a static web app: no account, no server, works offline. Your notes never leave your folders. MIT licensed.
