NextExplorer for iOS: Open-source native client for NextExplorer

I built this native companion for iPhone and iPad to solve the clunky mobile web experience for NextExplorer users, bringing full 1:1 parity with the core web functionalities into a fast, fluid native app. Everything connects directly to your own server, so your data stays on your infrastructure with zero telemetry, zero tracking, and no third-party servers. Key Features: • Native Browsing & Previews: Grid and list layouts, server-generated thumbnails, breadcrumb navigation, full-screen photo gallery, inline audio/video players, PDF viewing, and browsing ZIP archives without extracting. • Built-in Code & Text Editor: Full syntax highlighting for Swift, Python, JS/TS, Go, Rust, Java, HTML, CSS, JSON, YAML, Markdown, and more. • Search & Management: Recursive filename and full-text content search with exact line matching, link-based sharing (read-only/read-write), and offline caching with auto-sync. • Built for Everyone: 17 languages supported (including full RTL for Arabic), native Dark Mode, VoiceOver support, Dynamic Type, and high contrast options. • Open Source & Tech Stack: The app is 100% open source. On the engineering side, it’s built natively using SwiftUI, The Composable Architecture (TCA), and Swift Testing. AI (Claude) was used as an execution tool during development under my strict architectural guidance as tech lead, setting state boundaries, feature specs, and code quality reviews.
